Mele Kalikimaka!

“Mele Kalikimaka” is Hawai’ian for Merry Christmas!

Christmas is just around the corner. Seems like just yesterday that we were ringing in the new year with Tequila Pawgaritas. Then again, Pawgaritaville never stops!

This year the reindeer are on vacation. Santa is bringing presents by outrigger canoe and we’ll be there to greet him!

Join us on December 9th for holiday fun on the Beach. Nothing like a little escape from winter with all of its snow and unpleasant weather. We will be cooking up all of our holiday favourites. Tequila Sunrise Original Recipe

The next #PAWgaritaville theme is Tequila Sunrise.

A gentle evening breeze cools the heat of the day, and the alcohol keeps flowing. Friends, drinks, and then the morning sun in orange, red and gold. The tequila sunrise is the morning sun rendered in alcohol.

According to Wikipedia, the Tequila Sunrise has a long history and many variations. The original comes from the early 20th century in Arizona. Enjoy!

Biltmore Original
 Tequila Sunrise

1 1/4 oz. Premium Tequila
3/4 oz. Crème de Cassis
Fresh Lime
Soda Water

Fill glass with cracked ice.
Add Tequila, Creme de Cassis and a squeeze of lime. 
Fill with soda.
Garnish with 3 fresh lime wheels.
